The best laid plans never did run smooth. However, the unplanned rain didn't stop Michael and Kristi from having a beautiful wedding and reception. Before the ceremony, we were able to take photos outside of Kristi, and we loved the dark dramatic clouds. By the time we got to Michael, there was thunder, lightning and torrents of rain. Although it was Plan B, Kristi looked beautiful coming down the staircase inside with her 10 ft train behind her. We wish them a long, happy marriage that will weather any storms they encounter.
Right before the rain
Before the ceremony
And immediately after
Possibly my favorite Groom's cake of all time. Not only was this cake amazing to look at, but it was a delicious Key Lime flavor. Yum!
Best Wishes for the happy couple!

A day at the fair
This is one of our favorite engagement sessions. Will and Meryt met up with us last friday night at the North Georgia State Fair. Meryt had never been to a fair before, and it wasn't quite what she expected. However, we soon fell under the spell of the fair. We rode rides, played games, and ate cotton candy. While we were excited about them riding in the red car on the ferris wheel, Meryt was not so excited about the ride. In fact she was a little terrified. She recovered quickly and then we rode the carousel. We had so much fun and are excited for their wedding next year.

Keith and Lesley tie the knot at Primrose Cottage
Melissa and I had the honor of photographing Keith and Lesley on their wedding day at Primrose Cottage. The day ended up spectacular even though it rained and the ceremony had to be moved indoors. Luckily when the reception ended the rain had subsided and we went the the Mill down the road to shoot a few more couple shots. We wish you both the very best and it was a pleasure working with you this past year.
Also, congrats to Primrose Cottage for their newly renovated house. It looks awesome.
