We did Keisha and Jeff's engagement photos is Keisha's hometown of Cartersville. What's great about downtown Cartersville are all the fun alleyways. A note of history: the Coca-Cola mural advertisement is the oldest in the nation! Keisha and Jeff were great sports as we trekked around the area. We look forward to their June wedding in Carrollton.
Haley and Daryl drove up from Augusta to have their engagement session in Atlanta. We had a wonderful time with the urban setting and shot at several locations around the Fox Theatre. On April 19th they will have an outdoor wedding followed by a reception at a local tavern - a very unique, nontraditional affair for a very unique, nontraditional couple.
OK, so she turned two on Jan 13th and today is.......... But never mind that, just enjoy the following images from her birthday weekend. Matt's family came down from Tennessee, and the day before her birthday we all went to the aquarium and out to dinner. Elmo is favorite in our house right now, hence the party theme.
I love the aquarium! We never tire of taking pictures there, it is so beautiful and peaceful. Except the pirana. They were disappointing. I was looking forward to getting shots of fish with vicious looking teeth. The teeth are really tiny. They don't even show up well in a photo. But the jellyfish and whale sharks: mesmerizing!
Kai at the Buckhead Diner for dinner.
Party hats for everyone! In retrospect, it looks like the only party guests were animals :)
Cortney and Darren had a beautiful day on Saturday Feb. 9th for their wedding. Everything went smoothly for the bride and groom thanks to the coordinating efforts of Chasity from Sealand Events. Cortney looked absolutely radiant. She wore her mother's veil and the lace of the veil complemented her dress perfectly. The reception at Villa Christina was fun and fabulous. We wish Cortney and Darren a wonderful honeymoon and a wonderful life together.
We are pleased to announce a new series for Matt Yung Photography. 'First Moments' is where we capture images within the first two days of birth with you and your new baby. This precious time when you are getting to know your little one that you have dreamed about and eagerly awaited. A slide show is then created on our website to share with family and friends. Custom birth announcements, albums, and prints are also available.
We would like you to meet Addison Lindley Anderson, 6 lbs 11 oz, who was born on Feb. 5th to Erin and Jeff Anderson. Congratulations on your new family!
Darren and Cortney live in Virginia, so we scheduled their engagement session around the holidays when they would be in town visiting family. We had a great time - it was fun to see them get more comfortable during the session, and a little more daring. We are looking forward to seeing them again on Feb. 9th for their wedding!
Here are a few photos of Jay and Lesley's engagement session from last Saturday. The two will be saying "I do" on April 5, 2008 at Sam Jones United Methodist Church with a reception to follow at the Cartersville Country Club. Enjoy!
