Daniel and Kelley's E-Session

Two Sundays ago I had the pleasure of photographing Daniel and Kelley's e-session on a warm afternoon.  It was lovely to be outside and breathing in some fresh air.  I honestly can't believe spring is around the corner.  Daniel and Kelley will tie the knot this weekend at Primrose Cottage in historical Roswell, GA.  From the weather reports it looks like we will have another great day of shooting outside.  

Laura and Matt's Founders Hall Affair

What a great time we had with Laura and Matt and what a wonderful wedding! The new Mr. and Mrs Maddox had a touching ceremony, in part, led by Matt's father. Laura's mother made bouquets for mothers of the bride and mother of the groom out of antique brooches that were beautiful. Magnolia Events coordinated the affair impeccably and very personally - Laura has been working with them the past few months and they have all have a great rapport. It made for a fun, gorgeous day. Best wishes for this great couple as they start their new life together.

Matt's gifts to his groomsmen were branding irons with their initials.  No steak will be safe now.

The Off Season

Our first wedding of the year is coming up this next weekend, and we are so excited! Here's a little look at how we've kept busy during the past couple of months. 

Matt's Mom turned 60! We had a surprise party for her fit for a king - ELVIS! We set up a backdrop and all had fun getting pics. 

                          

 This is Matt's brother, Aaron, and our sister-in-law, Karen. They crack me up.

Kai-Lin turned 5. It's so hard to believe that five years have gone by since she was born. It's so exciting to see her grow into quite the little lady. We had a small party for her at Miss Mamie's Cupcakes, Cakes, and Such off the Marietta Square.

It snowed 5 inches at our house back in Jan. We had such a great time playing in the snow. It's the first time I can ever remember being able to build a snowman here without using every speck of snow on the ground. These are some of our favorite pics.

He was very curious about our little snowman.

Kai-Lin loved the sheet of ice on top of the snow. It was a contest to see who could pick up the biggest piece of ice without it breaking. Then, we would throw it on the ground to watch it shatter. Hours of fun.
