Christmas with the Yungs

Here are a few photos from our Christmas with Matt's family in Clarksville, TN.

Kai-Lin blowing out a candle at the Christmas Eve service.

Apparently Kai received everything she wanted.

My brother's wife Karen opening a gift.

Micah (my nephew) burnt out after four and a half hours of unwrapping gifts.

My dad the chef. No one asked him to wear the outfit, but it set the mood.

She enjoyed climbing into the boxes as much as the cat did.

Merry Christmas

We are celebrating the holidays with Matt's family in Clarksville, TN. Thanks to Matt's sister, Jessica, for the following pics (and check out Jessica Rayborn). So far we've opened one of Matt's gifts early so we could play Texas Hold 'em (his brother, Aaron, has won $25 off the rest of us) and have had a lot of fun just being all together. We are wishing you a wonderful Christmas and may God bless you in the new year.

Here's hoping Santa brings you everything you've asked for this Christmas

Sunset Beach, NC

Here is a recent shot I took of the pier at Sunset Beach, NC. My family and I have vacationed there since I was a kid, and Melissa and I are so excited to share this place with Kai-Lin as she grows up.

Brandon and Lindsay

We shot the engagement session for the future Mr. and Mrs. Wix at the Marietta Square. All the Christmas decorations made for a very festive and romantic atmosphere. Lindsay and Brandon were great! They ventured with us to a scary looking alley and didn't question when Matt got excited and inspired by --- a puddle. To Brandon and Lindsay - March 15, 2008 is going to be great!

Matt and Lindsay's Wonderful Wedding

It was a crisp autumn day - perfect for starting the rest of your lives together. So it was for Matt and Lindsay's wedding day. Their day went off perfectly without a hitch. We, on the other hand, broke our 24-70 lens right before the ceremony (boo). But, my brother Jeffrey was the videographer and we got to work with him all day (yea). And as for the new Mr. and Mrs. Plemmons - they are back from their honeymoon and have been waiting patiently for their photos. Matt and Lindsay - we wish you a wonderful Christmas season as you begin your marriage. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day.

Technical Difficulties

Sorry about the way the blog currently looks. We did an update to blogger and lost our old template. We are working hard on fixing the problem. Thanks!

Carrie and Grant at beautiful Berry College

Berry College is one of our favorite places to take pictures. It was a great fall setting for Carrie and Grant - and they were so adventurous! Climbing trees and facing irate geese! And I love their wedding date - 6/7/08.

Going to the chapel........

Alli and Zach are such a fun couple; they were very affectionate and up for anything. We can't wait for 6/28/08!

A Sneak Peek

Melissa and I have been very busy with many different shoots and wanted to show you a few of them before we take off on our vacation. To Lindsay, Matt, Zach, Ali, Carrie, and Grant: Enjoy and we'll post some more when we get back.

Picture Perfect for Stephanie and Erik

Stephanie and Erik chose to exchange vows at North Metro First Baptist Church. The church holds a lot of meaning for both of them; not only are they members, but they also met throught the church. The ceremony was personal and poignant. The reception at the church had a great feeling of community - so many people there to support Stephanie and Erik and celebrate with them. We truly enjoyed being a part of this day. Congratulations to both of you!!!!

A father and son moment.

Stephanie was absolutely breathtaking

With her great-grandmother (She's 104 years old - Wow!)
