Free-Falling in Love

Andrew and Christine Free exchanged their vows at the beautiful Ravinia Club on 7.14.07. Nature was in full cooperation and the first raindrops did not fall until the couple signed their marriage certificate and the guests had made their way to the indoor reception.

One of the most emotional moments of the day was when Pedro, the best man, made his speech. It was a tender and poetic tribute to the richness of marital love. I could never do his speech justice by description. Suffice to say, it brought tears to my eyes and an ache in my heart as only the truest and most heartfelt of sentiments can. What a beautiful moment in a beautiful day.

Lucky 7-7-7

July 7, 2007 was a very busy day for the wedding industry as many brides and grooms picked this day for a lucky omen. For Melanie and Brian, this was a lucky day, not because of the date, but because of who they are. I really admire them for their strong spirituality and integrity. It was evident in their ceremony and the toasts at their reception. Melanie and Brian saw each other before the wedding; I was struck by how relaxed and comfortable they both were. I think it is not because of the hard work they put into the details of their wedding, but the hard work they put into preparing for marriage. We wish them many of God's blessings.

Melanie's "something old" was her mother's veil. It was a very tender moment when her mother helped her put on the veil she had worn at her own wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Beaumont IV

Lindsay and Bruce had a beautiful wedding at Villa Christina on June 30th. At Villa Cristina, you feel like you are in a beautiful wooded area far away from any hustle and bustle. It was the perfect setting for their I Do's. What I loved about this wedding were the charming and whimsical touches - it really showed Lindsay and Bruce's personalities. It was an atmosphere meant for celebration and enjoyment. And a good time was had by all.

A funny moment caught in the kitchen

As I was taking this picture, lightning lit up the right side of the sky. A cool shot by luck.
