Lisa and Ben

It was our first time shooting at the Botanical Gardens in Athens. What a beautiful venue! We thoroughly enjoyed being with Ben and Lisa on their wedding day and meeting their families. Many kind words were spoken about the bride and groom and their faith. We wish them the best of everything and know their faith will be of great benefit to both of them in the coming years. Congratulations Ben and Lisa!

Alan and Lori | King Plow Center

Fun for Lori and Alan! King Plow Arts Center is a great venue. We had such a good time shooting there. Such a vast array of possibilities from sculpture and painting to rustic brick. The contrast between the fine art and the functional nature of the former steel mill makes it easy to get the creative juices flowing. It made for a beautiful wedding and reception. Many thanks to Lori and Alan for considering the lighting at their wedding - it added the perfect sophisticated touch. It was also fun to shoot with Matt's brother Aaron who is working toward making photography more than a hobby.

Christina and Joe | UGA, Athens

Go Dawgs! How fun to shoot Joe and Christina's engagement session on the campus of UGA. It's a beautiful campus with so many picturesque places to shoot. Joe also deserves some serious brownie points. Not only was it his birthday, but the UGA vs. South Carolina game was on while we were shooting. That is one dedicated fiance. We are looking forward to June 27, 2009 at the State Botanical Gardens in Athens.

Suzanne and Jim | Chateau Elan

We had such a good time with Suzanne and Jim at the vineyards of Chateau Elan. It was our first time visiting, and we found it to be a beautiful little getaway. Suzanne and Jim were great - relaxed and fun and ready to be a little bit goofy. We really enjoyed their company and can't wait for the wedding on November 1st, 2008.

Park and Sam | Georgia Aquarium

A couple of Fridays ago I had the pleasure of hanging out with Park and Sam at the Georgia Aquarium for their engagement session. After the shoot we happened to find a red wall that matched Sam's dress at a nearby parking garage of all places. We took our time at both places and were able to capture some stunning shots. We look forward to their Nov. 9th wedding at the Park Tavern.
