We love hearing how our couples met. In this case, it seemed that there were huge obstacles that needed to be overcome for Ben and Kartini not only to meet, but create this beautiful relationship. She is from Aruba and he is from Georgia. She went to university in the Netherlands, he is currently working on his doctorate in North Carolina. You never know the plans God has for you or where they might take you. We celebrate Kartini and Ben and their commitment to each other. It was such a joy to see these two together and the wonderful and diverse family and friends that support them.
The Hazlehurst House provided a beautiful backdrop and we loved every minute. Thank you to Kartini and Ben for letting be a part of such a wonderful affair.
